Overview

As Beta Test Manager, tasks that I have completed include, but are not limited to, the following: - Selecting users for the closed beta test group from applicant and liaising with them; - Loading beta testers onto online database and obtaining the relevant information to create user profiles; - Creating appropriate non-disclosure agreements and having them signed digitally; - Providing users with details of the beta test phase and liaising with them for the duration of process; - Managing the inputs and outcomes of the group to project design and development, i.e. consolidate inputs and outcomes with current product and create relevant UML diagrams; - Creating concepts for improved website/app design based on research and feedback; - Formulating reports for team discussion; - Establishing agendas for the potential way forward As Technical Assistant, I draw on various skillsets, which require me to also do the following: - write and/or present papers (and sometimes run workshops) at conferences; - draft letters/emails to be sent to various parties, including users, employers/HR departments, and potential sponsors; - design, create and maintain websites; - obtain statistical data and compile it into useful presentations; - act as curator of our ‘Stations and Stops’ app
