Overview

Brahm Cramer, Chairman of the Board, has been on the Civic Builders' Board of Directors for eight years. He is the Co-Head of Real Estate Investments AllianceBernstein. He previously spent almost 20 years at Goldman Sachs in the real estate business, having become a Partner of the firm in 2002. In his most recent role, Brahm served as co-head of the Real Estate Principal Investment Area and co-chair of the Whitehall Funds, a group of investment vehicles controlling approximately $18 billion of equity and over $100 billion in total cost of real estate assets under management across more than 20 countries. In addition, he served on Goldman Sachs’ Firmwide Risk Committee and had oversight of the firm’s real estate balance sheet investing activities. Brahm formerly served as CFO and COO of the Real Estate Principal Investment Area. He was also a founding architect of Goldman Sachs’ European real estate distressed investing platform while based in Paris in the mid-1990s.
