Glenn Martin

Overview

Glenn E. Martin is the Founder and Chief Risk Taker of JustLeadershipUSA (JLUSA). Mr. Martin founded JLUSA on the principle that those who are closest to the problem are often closest to the solution a culmination of his experience serving six years in New York state prisons in his youth and working for over thirteen years as a national leader and criminal justice reform advocate. Before establishing JLUSA Mr. Martin served as Vice President of Development and Public Affairs at the Fortune Society and as the Co Director of the National HIRE Network at the Legal Action Center. He is the Co Founder of the Education Inside Out Coalition a 2011 2012 Americas Leaders of Change National Urban Fellow a member of the Harvard Executive Session on Community Corrections and a member of the Boards of The College and Community Fellowship and Prisoners Legal Services. Mr. Martin regularly appears on national news outlets including MSNBC Fox News CNN Al Jazeera and C SPAN to contribute his expertise on topics such as policing decarceration alternatives to incarceration and reentry.
