Overview

Director of Research and Development for Undercover Colors a technology based startup dedicated to the prevention of sexual assault. My primary responsibilities include managing internal scientific teams external contract R&D projects budgets and timelines. Additional responsibilities include overseeing strategic development of intellectual property and communicating technology development updates to company executives Board members and investors. This position has afforded a unique opportunity to integrate the technically demanding aspects of drug detection with consumer products and cosmetics. In our product development process the establishment of relationships with design firms and manufacturers which are capable of combining these unique fields has been vital to accomplishing our goals.Before joining Undercover Colors I completed internships with three major pharmaceutical companies Pfizer Zoetis and GlaxoSmithKline where I conducted both independent and team based research projects. These projects focused on drug discovery protein bioconjugation and assay development for use in diagnostic biodevices.
