Overview
Phil is our Managing Director and Chairman. With over 15 years international experience in consulting and management, Phil has broad experience in aligning technology with strategic business direction. Phil started his career as a Chemical Engineer in the UK working for global organisations including British Petroleum and British Steel. He has worked as both a project engineer and process engineer before moving into a career in IT. Since then he has held senior software engineering, systems analysis and consulting positions in the UK and Australia. Phil joined Ignia in 2003 and was appointed to the board in 2005. He holds an honours degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bradford and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
