Prisca Weems

Overview

Prisca has been working as a design professional in Europe and the US since 1995 integrating sustainable design and development practices in residential commercial and government sectors long before they were mandated by statute. She is known in the industry for providing strategy and oversight in the design management and execution of federal community and regional projects. Her public reach has included advising legislative and municipal bodies as well as industry groups that include chapters of the USGBC HBA and AIA in program and policy development. Prisca holds a MArch from Tulane University School of Architecture and a post graduate degree in Advanced Environmental and Energy Sciences from the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales/University of East London. She is currently completing a MSc with an emphasis on stormwater management and is an adjunct professor at Tulane University where she teaches systems thinking and design to Masters students in the Sustainable Real Estate Development program.
