Overview

Raghunathan's passion for social development is reflected in all this work. As a development enabler, Raghunathan is a strong proponent of building evidences for guiding development. He brings expertise and focus on research and evaluations, considering both as critical levers to inform paradigms, policies and practices that affect the lives and livelihoods of marginalised across the world. Raghunathan has demonstrated the use and value of employing multi-disciplinary approaches and plurality of methodologies for evaluating large development programmes of complex contexts such as rights-based, service-delivery oriented, self-help based, advocacy-based, etc. In 2008 he received an award by Indian Council of Agricultural Research for Outstanding Multidisciplinary Team Research in Agricultural and Allied Science.
