Overview
Currently works for the Social Investment Lab, a social investment intermediary supporting social enterprises overcoming their financing needs through innovative instruments. Rita has been engaged in the first SIB in Portugal, in the area of education and am now involved in the preparation of a new SIB in the area of youth employability. She has also been providing investment readiness support to social enterprises in areas such as urban regeneration and families under financial distress. Prior to the Lab, she worked in several projects in Africa, namely in the areas of mobile banking and agriculture (with Aga Khan Foundation).
