Ms. Tamar Pashtan is a part of Vital Capital s Investment Team as an ESG & Impact Associate. Ms. Pashtan brings with her a comprehensive background in environmental consulting with over 7 years of international experience in disciplines including sustainable urban planning green building and infrastructure standards and regulatory compliance. Her responsibilities at Vital Capital include environmental social (ESG) and impact analysis and critical review in screening potential investments due diligence evaluations and liaising with venture promoters co investors and professional resources. In addition she is responsible for conducting ongoing ESG and impact monitoring of portfolio companies guiding and implementing improvement recommendations and reporting on company ESG and impact performance. Ms. Pashtan holds a B.A. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and a M.Sc. in Environmental Studies from Tel Aviv University. Her thesis research awarded funding by the Chief Scientist s Office of the Israeli Ministry of Environment and Israel s largest developer was published and reported in leading media publications. Ms. Pashtan is a certified LEED Accredited Professional (U.S. Green Building Council) in Building Design and Construction.
